You may have noticed that you are unable to access STISD email from mobile devices, such as an iphone, Blackberry, Android, ipad, , etc. Follow these steps to update your email account on any of these devices:
- Locate your current email settings on your device. Write down the settings. If you do not know how to access the settings, don’t worry. Listed below is the basic information you will need to set up the new account.
- Delete the current STISD email account from the device.
- Create a new STISD email account on the device using the settings that you wrote down in step 1 or use the generic settings below. Please understand that not all devices use the same terms to identify the same information.
a. email:yourfirstname.yourlastname@stisd.net
b. Server name:exchsrvr.stisd.net
c. Domain: stisd
d. Username: yourfirstname.yourlastname
e. Password: your email password
f. Description: whatever you want – for example: STISD email
g. If there is a setting for SSL, select YES or ON
- You also have the option to sync your contacts and calendar. It is your choice whether to sync them or not.
- Allow a few minutes for the email account to populate and then you are finished.
