Lesson 1.3: Using Outlook Profiles

   

 

 

Deleting a profile is easy; just click the profile in the list and click Remove. Be careful, though; once it’s gone there is no way to get it back!

 

If you want to double-check what information this profile contains, click the profile and click the Properties button. You’ll see a modified version of the main mail screen:

 

 

You’ll notice how there’s a different name now at the top; this is the name of the profile you selected. We can click E-mail Accounts or Data Files to see what’s set up for this profile.

 

Once we’re done looking at this profile’s properties, click Close. We can then close out of the profiles screen (by clicking OK or cancel; this will also close the main Mail properties), and then close out of the Control Panel to go back to the desktop.
