Lesson 3.4: IMAP

   




 

An IMAP mailbox will appear as a second set of folders underneath your personal folders. The folders you’ll see in your IMAP mailbox will depend on what your system administrator or Internet Service Provider has set up. The example above only has inbox and junk e-mail, so with this IMAP account sent items, drafts, and outgoing e-mail will be saved to your personal folders. Normally you will only have mail folders; IMAP does not support special folders like calendar, contacts, and tasks.
