It is easy to exit Photoshop CS. If you click the close button (X) in the upper right of the Photoshop CS window, the program will close. You can also close the program by selecting File -> Exit from the Photoshop menu bar. Pressing the Ctrl and Q keys at the same time is another way to close Photoshop. If you are editing an image, and use any of these methods to close Photoshop, you will be presented with the following alert (of course, the name of the image will correspond to the one you are editing).

 

 

 

If you click the Yes button, any alterations you have made to the image will be saved. If you click the No button no changes to the image will be saved. Clicking Cancel will stop Photoshop from closing.
