Lesson 1.3: File Management Basics

   

 

 

When working in Photoshop CS, there is a possibility that you could modify your image file in a way that you did not intend. If this happens, one way to recover is to use the revert feature. This option is available to you under the file menu, by selecting File->Revert. When you choose this option, the file you are working on will revert to the last saved version of the file. All editing changes made since this last saved version will be discarded.

 

Photoshop is a very forgiving application that provides more than one method for recovering from unwanted changes. Other recovery methods (like the history palette and undo) will be discussed in later lessons.
