desktop. You can also start Photoshop by choosing

The following image
shows the Photoshop CS screen after Photoshop opens.

The first step in
this exercise is to remove a palette group. Click on the
Window heading in the menu
bar to display the palette choices. Next, click on the check
mark next to the word Navigator
in the menu. The Navigator palette group should disappear from
your screen.

3. |
For the next step,
align the three palette groups
that are remaining on your screen along the bottom of the screen
area. You can do this by dragging and dropping them with the
thick blue bars at the top of the palette windows.
Drag the
Colour palette group first,
then the History and
Layers palettes.
The resulting
Photoshop screen should look like this:

4. |
For the next step,
drag the toolbox across
the screen to the right edge (using the thick blue bar at the
top of the toolbox). Now drag the
Paths palette (by its name tab) up to the palette
well and drop it there. The border around the palette well will
become darker and thicker when the palette that is being placed
there is ready to be dropped.
Your Photoshop
screen should now look something like this.
