When multiple tool variants share the same short cut key, the tool variant that is currently visible in the toolbox will be selected when the key is pressed.

You can view a complete list of Photoshop CS default shortcut keys by choosing Edit -> Keyboard Shortcuts from the menu bar. This option will display the following Shortcuts dialog.

In this box, you can select Application Menus, Palette Menus, or Tools from the Shortcuts For: drop list. Just click on the right pointing arrow next to a heading (the file heading, for example) from the list provided to see the shortcut keys for the associated functions.

You can also create a summary file of the default keyboard shortcuts by clicking the Summarize button on shortcuts dialog box. You will then be prompted to save the summary file in a location of your choice. When you save the file (an HTML file) it will open up in your default web browser.
