As you have already seen, there is a large array of selection tools and options available to you in Photoshop CS; but you haven’t seen everything yet. There are still a number of ways to control and use selections that can be added to your image editing repertoire.

 

In this lesson you will learn how to save a selection, how to cut, copy, and paste selections, how to “deselect” a selection, and how to crop an image based on a selection. To conclude, you will learn how to extract objects using selections, and you will practice cutting, copying, and pasting selections in the final exercise.
