Lesson 3.4: Colours and Colour Effects

   

 

 

If working with colour seems to be a recurring theme, it is only because colour plays such an important part in image editing. Even the most detailed digital photos are made up of millions of tiny colour elements mapped together to form an image.

 

For example, if you are creating logos or graphics for a website, it is crucial that you are able to create the colour and effects that you need. This is just as true if you are preparing material for print. In this lesson, you will take a closer look at choosing colour for the background and foreground, at using the eyedropper tool, and at some of the effects that can be created with using colour (gradients and colour strokes).
