The data types associated with Smart Tags can be anywhere from a date to email recipients. Therefore when a presentation is opened the Smart tag indicator will search for words associated with names, dates and financial symbols. When the data is found a purple dotted line will appear and by selecting the smart tag indicator, you can find out what actions you can perform with the selected data.
