Click on the
Start Button and select
Run.

In the Run box type
msconfig. Click OK.

In the System
Configuration Utility window, select the
General tab.

Under the General Tab,
select the radio button for Selective
Start-up.

Uncheck the checkbox for
Load
Start-up
Items.

Click the
OK button.
Restart your computer when
prompted.

After your computer has
restarted, open the System
Configuration
Utility and put the computer
back in a Normal Start-up.
(Don’t forget to reboot.)

Open the
Program
Compatibility
Wizard.

|

Close the Program Compatibility
Wizard.

|

Open
Backup.

|

|
|

Select the option to
Back up
Files
and
Settings.

|
|

Select the option to
back up My
Documents
and
Settings.

|
|
|

Save the file to your
C:\ drive and name it
MyBackup.

Finish the Backup wizard and
confirm that the backup was created. |
