To open System Restore, follow these steps:

 

• Click on the Start Button.
• Select All Programs, Accessories, and System Tools.
• Select System Restore.

 

In the first window of system restore you will see these options:

• Restore my computer to an earlier time
• Create a restore point

 

Let’s take a look at creating a restore point first, and then we’ll use this restore point to revert back to revert back to the time just before it was created. To get started, select the radio button option, “Create a restore point,” and click Next to continue.
