To connect to a domain you must be logged onto the computer as a computer administrator. Logging on to a domain also requires your user account to be set up on a server before you attempt to connect to the domain.

 

To connect to a domain:

1. Open the Control Panel.
2. Open the Performance and Maintenance category. Open the System icon.
3. In the System Properties window select the Computer Name tab and click the Change button.
4. Select the Domain radio button and type in the desired domain name.
5. Click the OK button to finish.
