You can manually connect to a wireless network using the Network Connections window:

1. Open the Network Connections window.
2. Right Click on your wireless local area connection.
3. Select the option View available wireless networks.
4. Select your available wireless network, enter required security information, and hit Connect.

 

You can also perform these steps:

1. Open the Network Connections window.
2. Go to the properties of your wireless local area connection.
3. Select the Wireless tab. You should see your available and preferred networks.
4. Under preferred Networks, click the Add button.
5. Fill out the required information for your wireless network.
6. Hit OK.
