To enable Remote Assistance,
follow these steps:
- Open the Control Panel.
- Open the Performance and
Maintenance icon. Open the System icon.
- In the System Properties
window, select the Remote tab.
- Under the Remote Assistance
section, check the box which says Allow Remote Assistance
invitations to be sent from this computer.
An advanced button is available,
which provides you with the following options:
- Allow this computer to be
controlled remotely: This allows you to enable or disable the remote
control feature for your computer.
- Set the maximum amount of
time invitations can remain open: Allows you to manually set the
time a remote assistance session will remain open.
