The Help and Support Feature
|

|
To navigate through Help and
Support, simply use your mouse and click any of the helpful areas. These
areas may change to another page with more subtopics to assist you. Feel
free to browse around the Help and Support window to become familiar
with it.

Help and Support Title Bar |
Tells you the name of the
active window you have open and can be right-clicked for additional
options. At the right side of the title bar are the buttons for
Minimize, Maximize, and Close. |

Help and Support Button Bar |
Displays the most commonly
used functions for a window. In this example we see the buttons
Back, Forward, Home, Index, Favourites, History, Support, and
Options. |

Search |
Allows you to type in a
phrase, question, or word to search for relative material.
|

Pick a Help topic |
Allows you to browse help
topics organized by subject. Simply pick from a list of helpful
topics which may re-direct you to other, more focused, sub-topics.

Ask for assistance |
Allows you to ask a friend
to connect to your computer through the Internet or get information
from the Windows XP Newsgroup. |
|
Pick a task |
Displays tools to keep your
computer up-to-date, check the compatibility of hardware or
software, restore your computer in the event of a problem, and run
diagnostic tools to view information and test your computer. |

Did you know? |
When you are connected to
the Internet, this area will display links to timely help and
support information. |
