Lesson 3.9: Date, Time, Language, And Regional Options

   

 

 

This icon will open the Regional and Language Options window. This window allows you to adjust your regional standards and formats, location, text services and input languages, and many other language options. There are three tabs available: Regional Options, Languages, and Advanced.

 

Regional Options tab

Provides two sections for regional standards and formats and location. Both are adjustable by location.

Languages tab

Provides two sections.

Text services and input languages provides settings for default input language, installed services, and preferences and allows you to select the default input language for when your computer start.

Supplemental Language Support allows you to add languages to Windows XP.

 

By clicking the details button you are provides you with two tabs: Settings and Advanced.

Advanced tab

 Provides you with three sections: Language for non-Unicode programs, Code page conversion tables, and Default user account settings.
