Our next type of diagram is the cycle diagram, which shows how a continual process works. Here’s a sample of a cycle diagram:
The
command for inserting cycle diagrams is the same as the one we used to
create an organizational chart. You can click the Insert Diagram button
( Then, you will see the basic cycle diagram and the diagram toolbar in your document.
Editing this diagram is the same as editing the organization chart: you can resize it, delete shapes by selecting them, and type where indicated to change text.

The Layout menu lets you easily change the size of your diagram. You can fit the diagram to its contents, expand the diagram, or resize it. You can also choose AutoLayout for Word to manage all of those options for you. The

This dialog works the same as it did for organizational charts: pick a style on the left and see a preview on the right. When you’ve got the one that you want, click OK to apply it.
The last button is our text wrapping button, which changes how text wraps around your chart.
