There are two different types of objects in Microsoft Word. Some items, such as AutoShapes, drawing canvases, tables, text boxes, and charts, are classified as objects. This way, you can use the same commands (such as rotate or nudge) for all types of objects, making it easier to use.
Another type of object is a file embedded into Word. These are called OLE objects. When you edit that type of object, you will have the commands of the program that created it available to you in Word.
In this lesson, we’re going to talk about how to insert, select, move, resize, group, ungroup, and arrange all type of objects.
