Microsoft Office Word 2003 includes access to a new service offered by Microsoft: Information Rights Management (also known as IRM). This service lets you protect your document from being distributed via e-mail or printed. Obviously, someone determined can still copy your document (for example, by taking a screenshot), but IRM can be a good way to prevent the document from thoughtless forwarding.
