Did you know you can easily open a copy of your document without using the File – Open command? This can be particularly useful if you’ve made a lot of changes and the saved file is not up to date.
To open your document in a new window, make sure you’re in that document. Then, click the Window menu and click New Window. Once you do this, a second copy of the current document will open up:
You can see in the taskbar that two documents with the same name are open. In the second document, which is maximized, the title (Company Budget 2006) has a number 2 after it, indicating it is the second copy. You can now work with this second copy as you would a normal document.
