The Font menu is pretty self-explanatory; it shows a list of fonts and can be an alternate way to change the font in your document.

But what about the Work menu? When you add the Work menu, here’s what you’ll see when you click on it:

.

That’s right; the Work menu only has one entry by default. That entry, Add to Work Menu, will only be lit up if the document you are currently in has been saved. Once you click on it, your document will appear in the Work menu, like this:

You can then click on the listed documents to open them. This can be a useful, permanent, easy way of opening frequently used files.

To remove files from the Work menu, hold down Alt+Ctrl+- all at the same time, then release the keys. Next, click the Work menu and click the file that you want to remove. (This will not delete the file from your hard disk, just remove it from the list.)
